Emily believes that valuing lived experience, community engagement and co-producing services are the most effective ways to improve individual, community, strategic and equitable outcomes in health and wellbeing. She brings an energetic, creative and professional approach to service-user and community engagement, specialising in co-production, participatory and creative arts research. With 25 years of experience working across the voluntary sector, NHS and local authorities she has a particular interests in the arts, healthcare, children and families, social enterprise and innovative and effective approaches to research and service improvement.
Emily's experience includes; Peer Researcher Programme Manager at Newham Public Health, Freelance public engagement specialist; Participatory Appraisal (action research) trainer; Action Learning facilitator with the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
